"The Parkas' 'My Life of Crime' is one of those great songs that gets you straight away. The first thing you hear is before any music is this captivating line: 'And so it begins...' Who can resist any story that begins like that!

The song then becomes a rootsy rock epic and seems to invite you to hitting the road and holding up service stations and gleefully laughing as you drive into the desert in some...um, borrowed Cadillac.
